Catching up

I have been going through my blogs and re-reading them, so I don't forget what I have learned.  It has been exciting to review and remember these new thoughts.

Unfortunately, as much as I loved reviewing,  I also noticed multiple mistakes and had to spend a great deal of time correcting all the errors! Who knew one person could make that many mistakes even when proofreading it again before publishing it!

So, in just reviewing my own blog writings,  I re-learned a big lesson:

Communication.  No matter how well you thought you communicated, there are unforeseen errors.  You can see them later, but not in tha moment.

Well, that explains what happened yesterday. I thought I was explaining my concerns (which I considered very important) very factually to a co-worker,  but the person grew very angry with me and stormed away.  They did apologize later, and so did I for any misunderstandings, but my point is, the whole thing caught me off guard. I thought I was making a simple, brief, important point, that needed to be addressed, and she didn't like what she heard and didn't think it needed to be addressed.  There were unintended consequences...she became angry and ended the conversation. I had no clue as to why she was angry as it wasn't about her. So, there was an unforeseen, unintended argument. I need to be alert to these and pray for guidance as I frequently have no clue why people are mad about some things.

Father, please help me to be aware of others' feelings, so that I do not cause them to become angry because of a misunderstanding. If they are angry because you are taking them through something, then please help me to understand that also.
