Do you believe in Jesus?

John 8
They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, a“You know neither me nor my Father. bIf you knew me, you would know my Father also.”

Jesus was trying to explain who He was/is. They didn't understand. They didn't get it. They heard His words, but the words never made sense.

Jesus was saying that if you know the father, you know Me, and if you know Me, you know the Father. To me, that leaves no wiggle room. If you believe in God, you must believe in Jesus...or you don't really believe in God, because God sent Jesus. 

So, how can people say they believe in God, but not Jesus? I believe when people say this, they are just like the people questioning Jesus in John 8. They are either choosing to not understand, because they would have to change, or it is not their time to understand.

Thank you Father for loving us so much that you always have a plan for us that will not fail even though we might have no clue what it is! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
